A Sign of Things to Come

So obviously we discovered that it is rare to find a nice pony for kids, so we gave up on the idea and bought the goats (which I love to pieces) for Ella. However, she is still totally drawn to the horses and yesterday she finally got to ride one. She loved it! She made the clicking noise to make the horse go and wanted more and more. Needless to say there were tears when she had to get off! I'm sure we'll be purchasing a horse in the near future!

I Have a Little Turtle...

We're trying to find a flotation device that Ella can use while swimming this summer. I'm not sure if we've found one or not, but look at the little turtle!

Ella and the Goats

Ella is starting to play with the goats more now, I think she wasn't real sure what to expect at first. She gets frustrated that she can't pick them up, but she loves that she can feed them.

Meet the Goats

Duncan is the biggest and almost the most skiddish. He doesn't let you get near (you have to be sneaky!) But if you can get him, he loves to cuddle! He's also the BIG BROTHER!
Oliver is very affectionate and he will be the first of the three to walk up to you, he is also very playful!
Lilly likes to be cuddled to, but I think eating is her favorite thing to do!

Nikki's Shower

Today was Nikki's shower. It was a lot of fun to plan, and I loved seeing everyone in black and white to go with the theme! Here Nikki is opening some of the 72 glasses that she got this weekend!

Peep Peeps

Dick and Lori got their chicks in the mail and Ella loves to watch them!

Bring the Goats Home...finally!

We finally got to bring the goats home! Rick finished their pen and we were ready to move them in! They were quiet the whole ride home and seemed to enjoy their new home! We're so excited to finally have them! They're going to be a lot of fun!

Watering Her Flowers

Ella liked planting these flowers almost as much as she liked watering them...and watering them, and watering them!

Walk MS

On Saturday we teamed up with some of my coworkers for the 6.5 mile walk for MS (multiple sclerosis). It was a beautiful day...finally!
