This was a beautiful state park in Starbuck, MN. Mountain Lake was a prairie lake and a lot different than the lakes closer to the cities. It was a beautiful hike and Ella loved playing in the lake.

Another year at the County Fair
Meet Oscar and Dorothy the fish, they lived two and three days, respectively.
Ella loves the oldies, so she dance the night away to the Rockin' Hollywoods. I wonder if they do toddler birthday parties?
Learning something new...
This summer I borrowed my Grandma's old pressure canner and Aunt Lori's knowledge on canning and we canned green beans the old fashioned way! It doesn't get any more organic than this!
Drive-In
We took Ella to the drive in with us, although she wasn't too interested in the movies! Both her and Rick slept through the second one. I know, I'm the one that is supposed to sleep through movies!
